This is by far the easiest trap to get most fish in. Within the first day, I had caught all my tangs, clown fish, a lawn mower blenny, and a chromi. Still haven’t been able to get the last two chromis and a six line wrasse out. The added mirror was great for tangs as they were more interested in fighting themselves than eating. Only down side to this trap was the same feature that was great. Whatever coating is used for the mirror peeled off and was flying around all over my tank. Luckily most fish were out at that point and didn’t eat it. But if you have fish to catch, which owning an aquarium you always do, and want the least amount of stress on fish and yourself, this is it! May consider just taking the mirror off as it is removable.
Hi Jolene, we're so glad to hear of your success with using our trap. So sorry to hear about the coating peeling off the mirror. We will be escalating this issue to get it solved right away. Thank you so much for your feedback. Congratulations again on catching your fish. Cheers! :D
This helped us catch a neon Dottieback. I will be using it again and recommending it to everyone.
Hi Erin, such awesome news my friend. So glad to hear our trap did the job for you. Thank you for leaving your review. Cheers! :D

Patience is Key
4.5" Standard trap 75 gal w/ 100 lbs Live Rock Clarkii Clownfish relocation Placed TankMatez trap into tank on Wednesday. All fans, poweheads, skimmer, etc.. shut off; each feeding was placed in trap. Clownfish was very cautious. I did not deploy trap until Clarkii was 100% set in place. Saturday Clarkii started getting food directly our of trap. Took 3 days for fish to be comfortable with trap. Trap worked exactly as advertised. Use sinking food, anything else will float out easily. Clarkii caught on 1st attempt.
Hi Dee Jae, thank you so much for leaving your review. We also appreciate you leaving the tips. Congratulations on your success, my friend. Cheers! :)
It works and definitely beats the mess out of taking all your Rock out and disturbing your coral. If you have a sick fish this is the best way to get it out of your tank.
Hi Aaron, thank you so much for your compliments. Congratulations on your success, my friend and thank you so much for your review. Cheers! :)
